Trigger Point Injections
- Targeted Relief for Muscle Knots and Tightness
- Alleviate Acute and Chronic Pain
- Release Tension. Restore Comfort
- An Effective Treatment for Myofascial Pain
What is a trigger point injection?
Trigger points are painful “knots” in your muscles. They form when a muscle can’t relax.
Injecting small amounts of a tailored mixture of medication into the trigger point can help alleviate the pain
A trigger point injection can help soothe muscle pain, especially in neck and lower back. It also can be used to treat fibromyalgia, tension headaches and myofascial pain
How is a trigger point injection performed?
The patient will either sit or lie down for the procedure. Your provider will press on your muscle to locate the area where you have pain. Then under aseptic technique, they will insert a small needle into the area and inject a tailored mixture medication for optimal pain relief
You can have several trigger point injections during one visit. The procedure only takes a few minutes
What are the risks?
The risk of complications from a trigger point injection is very low. Complication include, but not limited to, bleeding and/or infection at the injection site are possible, however uncommon. Temporary soreness and numbness at the injection site may occur.
Are trigger points right for you?
Trigger point injections may be right for you if your muscle pain has not improved with other treatment, including pain medication, chiropractic care, and physical therapy.
Hormone Replacement Therapy
- Customized Hormone Therapy, Tailored to You
- Restore Harmony Within Your Body
- More Energy. Better Sleep. Improved Mood
- Balance Hormones Naturally and Effectively

Is Hormone Replacement Therapy Safe?
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is generally safe when prescribed and monitored by a qualified healthcare provider. While there are some risks, they vary depending on individual health factors, the type of hormones used, and the duration of therapy. Your provider will evaluate your medical history to ensure the safest approach.
How long does it take to see the results?
Individual results may vary. Some individuals may begin to notice changes within days, while for others it may take weeks, months, or even longer. The timeline depends on factors such as your treatment plan, age, genetics, and the specific outcomes you’re aiming to achieve.
For example, changes like the redistribution of body fat, increased facial and body hair, improved sleep, and shifts in mood or mental clarity may become noticeable within three to six months. Mood improvements can often be seen as early as three to six weeks, while a boost in energy levels may occur around the three-month mark. Increases in muscle mass and strength typically take six to twelve months to fully develop
How long do results last?
You can continue male hormone replacement therapy as long as it effectively manages your symptoms and does not lead to adverse health effects. It is designed to be a long-term treatment. If therapy is discontinued, hormone levels will gradually return to their original baseline.
The effects of a single injection can last anywhere from a few weeks to up to 10–12 weeks, depending on the formulation. Some long-acting options are specifically designed to be administered every 10–12 weeks. However, the duration of effectiveness can vary based on individual metabolism and the prescribed dosage.
Is HRT right for me?
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) may be a suitable option if you’re experiencing symptoms related to hormonal imbalance, such as fatigue, mood changes, sleep disturbances, weight gain, or decreased libido. The decision to begin HRT depends on several factors, including your age, medical history, symptom severity, and personal health goals. A thorough evaluation by a qualified healthcare provider is essential to determine whether HRT is appropriate and to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
